Halloween

Halloween was fun and Kinsley loved being a princess. She dresses up again and again everyday all day. But I can't blame her I would love to dress up as a princess everyday too. :) Here are some pictures of Halloween. I had to put a picture of Eli (Kinsley's cousin), he was too cute. If you notice the black eye on Kinsley she fell a week ago. It is almost better. She tells me everyday that it is getting better. Oh and the last picture is for Hannah. Hannah made her trick or treat bag this year. Kinsley loved it.

Hannah this is for you

So this is the after!! We have been in our house for little over a week now. And I am tired. I am tired of unpacking and not being able to find a thing. But I guess that is what comes with moving. Hannah wanted pics, but sorry to disappoint there is this one only for now. There will be more to come. Nobody wants to see rooms filled with boxes and toys every where. I am very excited that we finally have a house of our own. I will say it has taken me a little while to get used to the place. Hannah and I have decided that I am not good with change. I really am not. I had a hard time when I moved away to Utah for college. I even lived with family and I was home sick for a month. And then when Chris and I got married and moved back to Georgia I was missing Utah( I know that is crazy but I was). But I am glad to say my house is slowing starting to feel like my home. I have so much I want to post about what we have been up to. I could write for hours on Kinsley alone. She is growing up so fast. I was driving her to church last Sunday and I was thinking in two months she will be a Sunbeam. I can't believe it. Then I started to cry because I thought in less then 3 years she will be in Kindergarten. (I am crying as I am typing. What is wrong with me? :) I am not ready. There are days when I remember how easy not having a child was. But I would take a million hard days with her then not have her at all. I love her so much. With that said, that child of mine is driving me crazy lately. She cries over everything. And anything I say it is the opposite. Like today Halloween, I say "Kinsley today we are going to Grandma's house to go Trick or Treating." Kinsley " I don't want to go to Grandma's house." Me "Kinsley you will get more candy and you can wear your princess dress." Kinsley " I don't want candy or be a princess." WHAT?? First of all she loves to go to Grandma's house and she loves candy. And everywhere we go she tells everyone that she is a princess. Just because I said it she didn't want to do it. This is what happens all day every day at our house. But you have to love it. :) Sorry this post is so long. But I am really bad at updating Kinsley's baby book. So when a miracle happens and I get motivated to update it, I will use this to let her know how wonderful she was. :) More pictures to come Hannah, I promise.
Hannah if you would move back you can see it for real.

It was a stupid thing to say...

If you know me then you know how terrified I am of bugs. I am not just "oh there is a bug get it away". I am screaming, crying(yes I cry about every time one of those ugly things touch me), going into the fetal position until the nasty thing leaves. Some how Kinsley has adopted this same fear too. I really try around her to be brave. I have come a long way now, bc if a bug is on her I will get it off . Instead of running for my life and leaving Kinsley to defend herself. Lets just say we both have a fear of the nasty things with so many legs and eyes. So ask me why I told my daughter last night when she went to bed "Don't let the bed bugs bite." It just came out. I told her to have sweet dreams and then I said something terrible about bed bugs biting her. DUMB DUMB thing to do. Because five minutes later Kinsley was crying saying there were bugs in her bed. After an hour of her finally going to sleep. Oh and the only way she would go to sleep was to lay on her pillow and have none of her body touch her bed. It was a sad thing to see. I really felt bad. But I thought in the morning she will forget it all. I was wrong bc Chris woke up to her crying before 7 saying "Mommy there are bugs in my bed." So she went to church and told people that there are bugs in her bed too. (if you were at church and heard it, there are no bugs in her bed or our house bc if so I would never be able to sleep) So we are going to wash all of her sheets and blankets to get the bugs out. I hope this works. I will ALWAYS think before I say something to a 2 year old from now on.

Sorry Cinderella..

Kinsley loves Cinderella. Well she loves anything girlie or anything that has to do with being a princess. We started to potty train Kinsley about 3 months ago. She has done great. She only wears a pull up at night(just in case). Well this morning she woke up to tell me that she "tee tee" in her pull ups. I said "Kinsley Cinderella (Cinderella is on her pull up) gets so sad when she has tee tee on her." Then Kinsley says "I need to see her." So I hand her a pull up (a clean, dry one). She Says "Cinderella I am so sorry." And then she hugs the pull up. I couldn't help but laugh. I am not sure if it is a good thing. I guess I have taught her to say sorry and give hugs, when she makes someone sad. But I am not sure how I feel about telling a pull up she is sorry for peeing in it.

My Kinsley..

What can I say.. I love my little girl. She is so wonderful, beautiful, funny, kind, independent, and everything I hoped for. I can remember how hard it was right after I had her. I would go through it a million times over again. She makes me smile so much. (She can also make me go crazy too.) I am truly the luckiest momma alive. She says the funniest things. Anytime she gets happy about something she asks "Momma are you so excited too?" She loves to call Eli ( her cousin) her buddy. She calls our dog Barkley.. Barkey. Whenever I say Me too, she then says Me three.(by the way I think that is way smart) Anytime I take her to my mom's house she says, "This is going to make grandma so happy." The world revolves around her. And I think it should for a 2 year old. The other night she had a bad dream. She woke up crying. I said Kinsley what is wrong? She told me then that her shoes were gone. I said what shoes. She said my blue polka dots, we left them at the hospital. So I had to tell her no they are here at home. My girl loves her shoes. She also loves to dress up. She is always asking me "Momma am I so pretty?" . I tell her every chance I get how beautiful she is. I don't let a day go by without her knowing that she is. So little sweet pea Kinsley... I love you so much my beautiful little girl!

I be.....

So after Chris and I were dating for awhile we started to talk about marriage and kids. He always joked about when in comes to teaching our children how to speak I wouldn't be the one to do it. It might have something to do with my southern accent. Or maybe the way I always mix up words and say the wrong things. I have never claimed to be an English major or anything. Obviously from my posts, I am not a great writer either. So one day Kinsley starts saying "I BE tired" , "I BE hungry." , or "Where does Daddy BE." What the??????? I swear I never taught her that. It is funny, but not cool. Oh my little sweet redneck baby.....

RiverBend Race

Saturday I ran in the RiverBend 10K race. It was so much fun. I ran with two of my sisters Stephanie and Lindsey. One of my good friends Sarah ran too. I finished the race in an hour and 7 minutes. I know that is not super fast. But I was impressed with it. I ran the whole 6.2 miles too. I did not stop and walk. Which made me so happy. I can't wait to run in more races. My next one is going to be August 8th. Go me!!!

Some Pictures

Here are some pictures from the last month.
Kinsley got to spend the day with Benjamin. They had so much fun. We went to the park and then chick-fil-a for lunch.

My Mom got a book with really cool cupcakes reciepes in it. So I tried to do the corn on the cob one. I think it turned out good. They really did look like corn on the cob.

Kinsley, Eli, and Benjamin(no clue who the other girl is).

Kinsley holding Micah at Jonathan's Dental graduation. Don't you love her HUGE smile.

Kinsley looking grown up.

I want to run again.

I used to run all of the time. Before I got married I was in the best shape I have ever been in. Due to running. Now 6 years later..... Well lets just say I need to lose a few pounds. So I have been just a little frustrated lately. I have been trying to get back into shape. And nothing is happening. I decided I need to start running again. I want to feel that high again when you are running. I want to feel like I can run forever, like I used to. (Runners out there you know what I am talking about.) So this is the game plan. I need to run in races to help me stay motivated. I have a race scheduled every month starting with June. And the goal is to be able to do a half marathon by November. I am posting this on my blog because I don't want to back down from this. I seem to always find reasons why I need to not take care of me. I think when you get married and have children, women start putting everything ahead of themselves. "We don't want to be selfish." But you know what it is ok to want to do something for yourself. I have an awesome husband that supports me, so NO more excuses from me. The race I am running in June, is the Riverbend 10k. The races that I have done in the past have only been 3-5 miles. So 6.2 miles will be fun. Wish me luck..I can't wait...

A Wife and A Momma

Yesterday I got to celebrate Mother's Day and my 6 year anniversary. I am truly the luckiest person alive. I married my best friend and I have a wonderful daughter. The past 6 years have been what I have always dreamed of. I love Chris with all of my heart. Kinsley has brought so much joy into my life. I love her so much. Yesterday was wonderful.

I am so excited...

For the ones that don't know... We are going to build a house!!!! I can't tell you how happy I am . I think we have been very patient(renting for 6 years). I feel like it was a quick decision. But it is a great one. We are getting a great deal and I am getting everything I want. The floor plan is so cute and big. No pictures yet but I will get them as soon as they start. Which should be in the next 3 weeks. As soon as all of the permits are in order. Yesterday Chris and I signed the contract with the builder. I feel stressed but very happy. So we should be in a house by Thanksgiving at the latest. :) We are building in the neighborhood, White Oak Plantation. For the ones that live out here it is the neighborhood where Ryan and Whitney live in. Love the house and the neighborhood. So I am off to start to look at colors, stones, flooring, and everything eles that needs a decision. That part I think is going to be overwhelming. But it will be worth it. I am so EXCITED!!!!!

Kinsley swimming

Kinsley wants to go swimming so bad. She has been asking to go since January. I keep telling her in the summer we will go. So last week it was really warm. Perfect for swimming. So I thought she can play with the water in a bucket. I need to get her a pool. I didn't think she would actually get in the bucket. It was so funny. She would tell me. "Momma I need to sit in my bucket." I will get her a pool for summer. I can't have my baby sitting in a bucket all summer.:)

Easter

So everyday, I think I need to update. So here are some pictures from Easter. We had lots of fun.

What I would do for 10 minutes..

I remember everyday asking myself that question. What I would do for just 10 minutes? I thought the day would never come. You know the day that I could actually get things done around the house. Kinsley has always been a child to get into everything. So I constantly had to check on her every move. Well until this week. I have more then 10 minutes, yesterday I got 2 hours. Her favorite thing to do now is sit on my bed with all of her cars. (Yes she lOVES cars.) She can play with them for hours. It is so cute to watch her play. She talks with them and gets mad when they don't line up right. I think she is a little "OCD" , which I think she got from me. She is growing up so fast now. I started to potty train her a week ago. She is doing good. She is doing a lot better then I thought she would do. I am so happy no more diapers.

Kinsley's Birthday pictures

Kinsley had lots of fun on her Birthday. I know it was over a month ago. But here are some pictures of her and the cake.
